Privacy Policy

What we collect, who else touches it, and how long we keep it. There is one distinction that explains most of this page: the data we hold about operators is ours to answer for, and the data inside an operator’s shop is theirs.

No advertising trackers, no analytics scripts, no data sold. Ever.

ConsignmentBiz loads no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, and no third-party tracking of any kind — not on this site, and not on the shops we host for operators. There is no behavioural profile of you here to sell, because we never build one.

1. Two different sets of records

This policy covers Kingdom Creatives LLC (“we”, “us”) and the ConsignmentBiz platform. Read it knowing there are two distinct relationships in play:

Whose dataWho decides what happens to itCovered here?
OperatorsUs. You bought a territory from us and we hold your account.Yes, in full.
Consignors & buyersThe operator whose shop they used. We only store it on their behalf.Section 4 — but their policy governs.

If you sent an item to a local shop or bought something from one, the shop is who holds your details. Contact them first; their address is in their shop footer. We can pass a request on, but we will not act on someone else’s records without them.

2. What we hold about operators

When you buy

We never see your card. Card numbers, expiry dates and security codes go straight to Stripe and are never sent to, processed by, or stored on our servers. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and nothing more.

While you use the dashboard

3. What we hold about visitors to this site

If you only read consignmentbiz.com without buying, we hold essentially nothing about you. There is no analytics script and no advertising cookie. The city-availability checker sends the city and state you typed to our database to answer the question, and that query is not stored against you.

4. Data in operators’ shops

When a consignor submits an item or a buyer reserves one, the shop’s operator collects:

We store this because we run the software, and we act on the operator’s instructions with it. We do not mine it, market from it, or use it for anything except making their shop work.

Operators: those people are your responsibility. Tell them what you collect and why, honour their requests about it, and keep to the law where you trade. The Platform stores what you enter; it does not discharge your obligations for you.

5. Who else touches it

We use four third parties, each for one job. We have no others.

ServiceWhat it doesWhat it sees
SupabaseDatabase and sign-inAll shop and account data
StripeTakes the paymentCard details, billing name and email
BrevoSends transactional emailRecipient address and message contents
VercelHosting and deliveryRequest logs, including IP address

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We disclose it only where the law requires, to protect our rights or someone’s safety, or to a successor if the business is sold — in which case this policy travels with it.

6. What we use it for

We do not send marketing email to consignors or buyers, and we do not add operators to a marketing list without asking.

7. Cookies and browser storage

The public pages set no cookies at all. The operator dashboard stores two things in your browser’s local storage: your sign-in session, and whether you chose the light or dark theme. Both are functional, neither tracks you across sites, and clearing your browser storage removes them.

8. How long we keep it

If your territory is refunded or your account is closed, your shop stops being publicly reachable straight away. Ask us and we will delete the underlying records, apart from what we must keep for the payment history.

9. Your rights

Wherever you live, you may ask us to give you a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it in a particular way. Email info@kingdom-creatives.com and we will reply within thirty days.

We will not charge you for asking, and we will not treat you differently for having asked. Depending on where you live you may also have a right to complain to a data protection authority; we would rather you came to us first.

If your request is about a local shop’s records rather than ours, we will tell you and point you at the operator.

10. Security

Access to shop data is enforced in the database itself, not only in the pages you see — an operator can reach their own shop’s records and no one else’s, and the public can read only what a shop deliberately publishes. Traffic is encrypted in transit. Payment credentials never reach us.

No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach affects you, we will tell you.

11. Children

The Platform is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child’s details have reached us, email us and we will delete them.

12. Where the data lives

Our providers operate in the United States, and your information will be stored and processed there. If you are contacting us from elsewhere, you are asking us to handle it in the US.

13. Changes

If we change this policy materially, we will email operators before it takes effect. The effective date at the top tells you which version you are reading.

Not legal advice. This policy describes our actual practice in plain language. It has not been reviewed by an attorney and is not a template for your own shop’s policy — your obligations to your consignors and buyers depend on where you trade, and you should take advice on them.
