Our story
We started the way most good secondhand shops do: with more furniture than room to keep it, and a stubborn belief that well-made things deserve a second owner rather than a skip.
Everything on the floor has been chosen by hand. We turn away more than we take — not because it isn’t nice, but because a shop that accepts everything stops being worth walking into. What survives that filter is solid construction, honest wear, and the odd piece we simply couldn’t leave behind.
Most of what we sell comes from neighbours. Someone downsizing, clearing a parent’s house, or finally admitting the dining set never fit. We price it fairly, sell it properly, and pass the larger share back to them.
The shop
Owner
Here most days, usually mid-restoration on something that was supposed to be a quick job. Happy to talk through a piece’s history, or tell you honestly when something isn’t worth the repair.
